In a bizarre crossover event that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
