European Leaders Condemn US Move as ‘Intimidation’
Officials from Europe including the French president charged the US administration of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans targeted figures that were at the heart of campaigns to introduce legislation governing American tech companies.
“For too long, ideologues in Europe have spearheaded coordinated campaigns to pressure American platforms to suppress American viewpoints they disagree with,” stated a senior US official online. “The current administration will no longer tolerate these egregious acts of censorship beyond its borders.”
